The rooms here are spacious, recently renovated, and offer lovely scenic views with open windows.

My room was large and recently renovated. The beds were extremely comfy.- The comfortable chairs and iron were a nice touch.- The hotel is placed in a central location in the garden area.

This is a nice hotel with friendly and obliging staff in the retaurant, bar and reception.

Fairly nice stay for the holidays. Pet-friendly hotel in a beautiful area just next door to the Don river, Doncaster and the Race Track and the Lakes. Lots of brilliant food at breakfast time. Stunning and easy location with parking on site.

The rooms here are newly redone and super clean, and come with two comfy beds, a nice shower, and a bathroom. The location is pretty good and lovely, plus the people at the front desk are really helpful. 😊

Reception staff were great, lovely bottle of champagne in our room on arrival, it was our anniversary. Breakfast great.

The pool area was a little shabby some of it needed cleaning especially the tiled area by the jacuzzi. The girl on reception was far too busy talking to her friends to deal with us and we were just left standing there waiting. She was friendly towards us but certainly lacked any professionalism!!! The hotel seemed to think we had not paid for breakfast which we had (it stated it was included in room rate on website booking). However they were obliging and included it free of charge.

Last time we stayed in this hotel was prior to the takeover by Holiday Inn and we were most impressed by the change.The rooms were pleasant and clean and the whole hotel looked very smart. I had leek and potato soup at the bar and that was lovely, I also enjoyed the fruit salad at breakfast

We stayed in room 303 and found it's location very circuitous, having to walk up and down several flights of stairs with our bags and are surprised that during the upgrade undertaken at the hotel this was not recognised as a potential issue. We were surprised to find the towels in the room were quite small and well worn and the tv set not to be flat screen, things which again we are surprised weren't recognised as needing change. Last time we ate at the hotel we were not impressed and unfortunately this seems to have been brought over as well, the 'steak and ale pie' was rock solid and it was impossible to get a knife through the crust, the sausages at breakfast were uneatable, the weak milky tea undrinkable

The room. It was very dated and the bathroom had a damp smell in it. A nice entrance to the hotel clearly showing money has been spent on the place, time though to update the rooms. Breakfast didn't have much choice for vegetarians, other hotels offer vegetarian sausages.
